Private Tours for Small Groups and Families
England Plus Tours is a small prestige company that specialises in half and full day excursions in the south-east of England. We also offer longer tours in Kent, in other parts of England, Wales and Scotland and on the nearby continent.
Our daily excursions are led by a professional driver guide, who holds the prestigious Blue Badge, the highest qualification for tour guides in the UK. For us, customer service, quality and service are without doubt the main priorities. We are very conscious about sustainable tourism and strongly encourage visits to environmentally friendly sites, which are often off the regular itinerary of large tour groups.
Based on the south-east coast of Kent, England Plus Tours is ideally located to meet clients at London’s main airports and at the Port of Dover. We also receive many visitors staying in London, who often choose to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a day and take the train down to the coast. In just under an hour, they can find themselves in a different world, perhaps enjoying a walking tour around a medieval town or taking in breathtaking views from the amazing White Cliffs of Dover!

New Activities and Experiences
All our tours are often very informative. For example, have you ever wondered why all those sheep don’t just run away? Who looks after them up there on the mountainside? Where do they stay in the winter? When do they get sheared? Are they bred for wool or meat? What about all those strange markings on their back? Why do some have a black face and legs? Let’s meet a sheep farmer and find out!
If you have any particular interest or ambition, we can build this into your tour. What about flying in a WW2 Spitfire over the White Cliffs of Dover, driving an Aston Martin or perhaps trying something a little more sedate like clay-pigeon shooting or a game of English lawn bowls? Just let us know well in advance and we can probably make your dreams come true!
Enjoy an exhilarating stroll along the White Cliffs of Dover, listening to stories about the Cliffs and the English Channel down below. Learn how this area played a vital role in our history and pause to reflect on what it would have been like standing here back in 1940. After all, in the skies directly overhead, this is where the Battle of Britain was fought!
