How long are the tours?

The duration of the tour depends on the tour you choose. 

Please contact us and tell us where you would like to go and what you would like to include. We will give you a suggested itinerary, the duration and the cost of the tour, plus any entrance fees and extras you are likely to incur.

What should I wear and bring along?

Please wear shoes suitable for walking up to a mile

In colder months, try to bring layers of clothing as the weather can be unpredictable in the British Isles. Please bring a raincoat or umbrella in case of showers. And don’t forget your camera!

Will there be photo and bathroom stops?

We build photo and bathroom stops into all our tours. Additional stops may be made on request.

What if we want to spend longer or less time in a place?

No problem  at all! The day is yours and times can be adjusted according to your wishes. It is just like travelling in your own car.

Where is the pick-up and drop-off point?

We pick up and drop off at hotels, at any of the main railway or bus stations in east Kent (eg Ashford, Canterbury, Folkestone, Dover) or at the Port of Dover. 

For pick-ups or drop-offs at the London airports or outside our area, a  supplement may be charged depending on the distance.

If travelling for a day trip from London, we strongly advise our guests to take the high-speed train down to Kent, due to the amount of time otherwise wasted in traffic.

Is the price per person or per vehicle?

The price is per vehicle. 

Our vehicle is a VW Sharan which can hold up to 6 passengers.

Larger vehicles can be hired on request but the price may differ depending on the number of people.

How much deposit is required?

To book the tour, we ask for a 10% deposit with the outstanding balance due 4 weeks prior to the tour date.

What about cancellation?

If you decide to cancel the tour for any reason, we will refund your deposit up to 6 weeks before the tour date and refund the total tour cost if we are advised more than 14 days beforehand. Between 7-14 days prior to the tour, we will refund 50% of the total cost.

In the event of force majeure or if there is a genuine delay outside of your control, we will also issue a full refund.

Please note that refunds exclude any pre-payments to sites and attractions that you may have made.
